Aloha & welcome to my little corner of the internet. I’m Tia Rose. I’ve been a student of astrology since 2012, and in 2024, I became a certified locational astrologer. The cornerstone of my practice is rooted in ancient Hellenistic techniques, using the whole sign tropical zodiac.

My master’s in wildlife conservation and years of fieldwork have led me to question the very fabric of reality. I’ve come to understand that nothing truly changes unless we do.

The way we connect with the natural world reflects the depth of our own self-awareness. As Matt Kahn reminds us, “People can only meet you as deeply as they have met themselves.” Until we look inward—acknowledging our impact, our habits, and our interdependence—we cannot fully see or honor the living systems around us. The harm we do to the Earth mirrors our own disconnection; only by meeting ourselves can we begin to truly meet and care for the planet.

This is why I believe astrology and Human Design are such powerful tools. They help us understand ourselves, each other, and the world around us with greater clarity and compassion. I’m particularly fascinated by how the study of astrology has shaped our understanding of mathematics and astronomy, revealing how deeply interconnected our knowledge of the cosmos and our inner worlds truly is.
